International Day of Women and Girls in Science

Women are playing a growing role in research and science. Their contribution to these fields is leading to a new era of creativity, innovation and positive transformation worldwide.

The more than 40 women researchers working at iTEAM have a natural ability to bring a fresh and diverse perspective to scientific problems, which can enrich the discovery process and lead to more creative and effective solutions. In addition, they work hard with great commitment and dedication, while managing to have that empathy to connect with people and understand their needs. This ability enables our women researchers to work more collaboratively and effectively with colleagues and communities, while letting them focus on problems that have a significant impact on society.

These are just a few of the many ways in which women are adding value and making positive contributions to research and science. However, despite these achievements, there are still barriers that limit women’s participation in these fields and hinder their progress and development. It is therefore essential to continue working to overcome these barriers and foster a more inclusive and equitable environment.

Here’s to all our women in science.
