AuroraSat was a spin-off from the iTEAM Research Institute, focused on the development of advanced software tools for the analysis, synthesis, and design of passive microwave components. In 2015, the company was acquired by Computer Simulation Technology AG (CST), a German leader in electromagnetic simulation. The integration of AuroraSat’s technology into CST’s flagship platform, CST STUDIO SUITE, significantly enhanced its capabilities in the design and simulation of microwave and RF systems.

In 2016, CST itself was acquired by Dassault Systèmes, the French multinational renowned for its 3DEXPERIENCE platform. As a result, the tools and innovations originally developed by AuroraSat became part of Dassault Systèmes' comprehensive portfolio of modeling and simulation solutions, supporting high-performance engineering in sectors such as aerospace, defense, and telecommunications.
